President V.Putin receives letter of credence from Ambassador of Japan T.Kozuki

Vladimir Putin received letters of credence from 16 new foreign ambassadors in a ceremony at the Grand Kremlin Palace's Alexander hall symbolising the official start of their work as heads of diplomatic missions in Russia. Among them was Ambassador of Japan T.Kozuki, who arrived to Moscow back in December 2015.

President Vladimir Putin:

"Developing a multifaceted dialogue with Japan is one of our foreign policy priorities. I hope that Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's working visit to Sochi on May 6 will help to expand our bilateral ties on the basis of mutual benefit and consideration of each other's interests"
